Is my throttle body bad? Can't set idle..

Is my throttle body bad? Can't set idle..

I have a new motor.It idle sat 2k and if you spray something into the throttle body it revs up.i know this is prolly a vacum leak,but when i try to set the idle by turning the screw it does nothing. it's an 86 na

did you reset the computer?? Or did you set the bavc motor at it reset default position??

I recommend that you find the vacuum leak first and see what the idle is. You may be wasting your time adjusting the idle screw when it does not need adjusting.

If you have a big enough vacuum leak, turning the adjust screw won't have any effect.
