I'm not sure why having a hood scoop effects how you should clean the car....
I have always used Armor All soap with one of those brushes you hook the garden hose to.

oh its got a hood scoop? you've gotta go to autozone and by the "hood scoop specific" soap and rags.........otherwise the car will catch fire when non-hood scoop soap touches the paint. j/k
You won't hurt anything by getting water in the scoop, go postal on the thing.

i think this is a BAD post... as you are not even specific as to what exactly you mean... there really aren't any special ways when it comes to CLEANING... when you clean, you get rid of dirt/dust... and having a hood scoop won't change anything when it comes to cleaning... come on now... it's common sense!

i think so too... but you see, we shouldn't even have to assume what he means... a question should be well stated in order to get a good answer...
i mean, look at the answers we gave him

or then again he might not want his intercooler full of water because when he is washing the car he puts the hose in the inlet and leaves it on....i dont know but when driving in the rain the water goes not really into the intercooler but pasts that and onto the windshield from underneath...if paraniod that ur car is that dirty to mess it up, just put a rag or sponge in the inlet

The only stupid question is a question not asked, Well at least that is what a guy at auto zone told me but this is comin from guys that say the TII fuel pump is the same as a N/A fuel pump go figure. The car'll be fine.
