Is my spark plug fouled/f'd ?
I'm a bit of a newb, and finally got my spark plug off because I thought it might have something to do with the recent shittiness of my ride and obscene smoking. Now, if it isn't that is cool because I really enjoy working on the fc, it is practically my only love. Anyways he is the pictures I took, they are a bit blurry but that is what happens when you have a horrible camera.
It is a NGK BUR9EQ, also the trailing spark plug if it matters.
The insulator is a dark dark black/brown color and the rest looks like it was burnt or something.

Okay, the car smoking isn't really the problem; it is usually only whenever I start it up -cold- , it smokes and backfires and the idle bounces.Hot it doesn't smoke, but the car won't hold an idle. I just got my ohmmeter today and I'm going to check the BAC valve and adjust the tps tmrw (It has been raining a lot here). Though I heard that if the insulator was black/brown it meant the spark plug had been fouled and mine is black.. I thought it might have something to do with the rough/impossible hot starts.. rather it be this than fuel injectors or stuff being stuck open. I know there are some seal problems but I am working at dollar general atm so money is tight.
So, the spark plug is fine or should I go ahead and replace them? The previous owner replaced them approx 6k miles ago. I thought you replaced them about every oil change or so.

if they are the platinum's BUR9EQP then keep em or else get some new ones, did you check the leading plugs? How old are the wires? quality?
The platinum's are only a dollar more and last much longer, unless you foul them.

They aren't platinum; no p on the end. The wires are pretty new and are still in good condition. I didn't check the leading spark plugs because it started to rain but I figured that if the trailing plugs are fouled then more than likely the lead are too. Even if they aren't I'd rather go ahead and replace them all at the same time.
I was mostly curious about the plugs because I hadn't seen any that looked like this and after searching I read that if the white insulator was brown/black then they were bad, but since that was the only information I could find I thought I'd ask here because someone usually knows. If I can find platinum ones available around here I'll go ahead and buy them; but I live in Kentucky.....
