flat black kills the cars potential to look nice.

lose the wheels, get a nice coat of real paint on it and it would look very nice.

edit: the BOV out the hood is a ricer move and by the pics looks like you need a rebuild, or turbo as you mentioned.

The hood looks pretty good but I'm totally against the BOV on the outside of the hood for a few reasons:

1) makes it easier for people to steal (not sure if it's a street driven car or not)
2) too flashy and will attract the wrong kind of attention from would be thiefs and/or cops
3) condensation will build up in the bov if parked outside and prematurely wear out the seal
4) seems like it would make the BOV operate at less than optimal levels since air is being pushed into it while trying to vent it

If you look on the bottom side of the hood you'll see the vent that keep air moving through the IC and out through the vents in the hood. I still have to permanently fab a baffle to put between the IC and the front of the engine to further keep air moving up into the intercooler. All that with the underskirt on the car should put a signigicant amount of air through the intercooler. (I also have the little piece that goes in front on the radiator to keep air flowing over.)

Since when is it cool to have oxidized looking paint?
What is the appeal of a "flat" color?
Do you like to look poor?
If you actually paid good money for that paintjob your an idiot.
You could of had the same results with Wal Mart paint. $0.99 per can!!
I think about 8-10 cans would have done the trick... Looking at $8-$10 in paint...

Next time I go look at a new car im going to tell the salesperson " I really like this car, but that glossy painjob just looks horrible. How could you even have something like that on your lot!?"
Just to start a little flame here.

So if I painted my widebody 1st gen a nice, brite and SHINEY pink, that's ok. But If the flame job was in a FLAT fuschia, you wouldn't like it. Is that what you are saying?

Btw, I took my car to a nearby car club meet last night, and not a single person disliked the matte black paint. I recieved many complements, including guys that had some very fine street rods and others that had near concourse restorations. Fun part was, nobody knew what it was, even though I was parked next to an S4 TII.

There were cars from the 40's, clear up to a late model Neon SRT, so the car 'culture' was quite well represented.

Just because we choose to do things different than what your expectations are, doesn't make us idiots. You, however, make yourself look like one with your narrow-mindedness

As much as I don't like it, I don't think that I can agree that its totall ***. Lets put it this way, at least he doesn't have paint chipping, or rust spots like most of us.
Secondly, it takes alot of time and skill to paint a car, whether you use walmart paint or a air brush, it still takes talent. Cleaning, sanding and the point of NOT missing a single spot is the hardest part or else you get bubbeling and whatnot. I dont see any in his pics.

3 piece Epsilons. I need to find another pair that are the same width as the rears. They are rare and I was told they were 1200 each, new.
