My S5 on JIC Magic FLT-A2

Just picked up some FLT-A2sfor my car. Got a pretty good deal on them so i jumped on it. Enjoy pics:

Now my question is, what do i need to do to the rest of my suspension to compensate for the drop. I know i need a rear camber rod, but which one? I also know i need new bushings, but what kit should i get? Thanks for the advice. Just doing some research!

you can get a rear camber kit from rx7store.net. Its like $105 and takes like 15minutes to install. cant help ya w/ the bushings though.

looks too low to me. just because it is slammed does not mean it will handle better.

Whats the offset on those wheels? Cuz it looks like they're kinda being swallowed up.

it does if its coilovers...

dont get the single rear adj camber rod, it doesnt have enough adjustment...get the pair of adjusters (one for each side) they cost twice as much but have a lot more adjustability...if your really low the single rod wont get you're rear camber where you want it.

um, no. the problem comes with the fact that there is little to no travel left to absorb bumps when your car is slammed. so when you hit a bump, which the street DEFINATELY has, (most tracks have their fair share as well) the suspension will bottom out and the car will become unsettled.

to get the full effect of coilovers you have to have them at a reasonable height and then get the car corner weighted.

i totally agree. the adjustable rod just throws the diff/driveshaft pinion angle off when you try to remove camber.

look great man. I have the same coilovers. Set my fronts to negative 3 degrees. MIne is about the same hieght.

I never got my rear cvamber adjusters.. but im probably going to buy the JIC's also.
I bought mine used and it feels like it has spring rates set for circuit... It is pretty damn stiff.
Are your hella stiff too?

^^^ you realize the suspension on that gtr is using modified mounting points right? also, the body kit also makes it appear lower than it actually is. take a look at the rear section to see how low it actually is

i doubt those time attack cars have modified mounting points on the suspension. There are very strict rules for those cars to be maintained very close to street/stock specs. Cant even use slicks on those cars. Besides there is a difference on him having 16's or 17's and tucking the wheels to having 19's(like the skyline)and tucking them.

LS1 FD from MWIR/IRNN is your punk ***.

Anyways - show me where that GTR has modified mounting points?

Don't be pulling information out of your ***.

The only reason why that Nagisa Auto GTR isn't running any rear aero
is the copious amounts of fuel lines running and tanks running through
the trunk.

and just because you don't know how to run proper suspension height, wheel
fitment and you think that slammed cars aren't set up properly???

R-Magic FD for example - Car scrapes all day and all ******* night.

For all you lemmings who post smart *** comments are the same
guys who PM me , with " OMG what suspension , tires , wheels are you running "

LOL -- wow , good luck people.
