> > i went up to a popular racing scene last nite at around 9:00. i was up for all of 10 minutes. got up there, and then i couldnt shift. it wouldnt go into the gear. so i figured id manage. but then i was at a light, and my rpms dropped till the car was about to stall, and then you hear and feel this big BOOM! right under the car. so i was like, thats it, im goin home. then on the way home, it did the same thing, and then it felt like the tranni just dropped. when i got home, i looked under the car, and right under the clutch was all this fluid leaking, i think it was tranny fluid. anyway im pissed and i dont know what it is. can some of you help me?

ok. been workin on my car today, and it wasnt tranny flud. it was brake fluid. so looks like a new master cylinder is needed. i adjusted the clutch and it doesnt do that BOOM thing anymore, yet... what i thought was a differential mount that was making a boom in the back of the car, is actually my driveshaft. my tranny seems to be fine. but there is still a noise under the shifter. it stops though when i let out on the clutch slightly. i suspect the throw out bearing. anyway, ill keep you posted, and if any of you reading this have any clues as to what else this could be, please tell me. thank you.
