my rx-7 t2 wont start electrical problem!

I drove to school one day, everything was fine. after school i got out and went to my car, and when i put the key in, nothing would turn on. the warning lights didnt even go on. But the headlights and dashboard lihts can still be turned on from the *****. So I thought itwas the ignition switch. I had to call the tow truck to tow my car home.I ordered anotehr ignition switch, but that wasnt the problem. Could it be the ignition coil? But does the ignition coil have to do with the electrical components going on first? iwasnt sure so I ordered that too. But idont think its that. do you guys think its the fuses? i mean sometimes it will turn on for a few seconds, but once i try to start it just shuts off. Its reall frustrating..

my car just had a jdm t2 swap from a s4 87 NA. i paid around 4 grand for the swap and engine. If icant fix this myself, I guessill have to have em tow it backl to the shop .but towing is expensive, like 100 bucks! [ the tow guys hate towing my car, they had trouble towing because its too low. ]

anyone have any clues of what can be teh problem?

mine did the same thing and it ended up being rusted/coroded grounds and the main fuse ended up not making a good connection. wigle around on the connections under and around your main fuse block and see what happens. If thats it you might hear it click back on. Mine is an 87 T2

im 95% sure thats your ptroblem. so clean all of your ground points, check for lose wires and check your fuses in the fuse block. mostly the main fuse in the center. check the plates that extend off of it that the wires hook to, under the plastic doors that snap open.
