86 rx-7 the car wa running fine but overheater and the clutch went out so my friend change the clutch and the thermostat put back eveything togeather i think and when start the car red line 7000 rpm and stay there it would not go down the gas pedal is not stuck i try eveything i know but nothing work i was thinking about replaceing the throttle body the only thing i can think of is the throttle is stuck in the throttle body anyone ever had this problem thanks.

Check your OMP rod. Sometimes they will bind up.... Keeping the Throttle open.
