injectors overheating? O.o

Hello all. I had a long 3 hour trip the other night, and half way through (1.5 hours freeway) my car started to miss and studder randomly. I had enough fuel, and everything checked out, but I pulled over and let the car rest for an hour. It seemed fine for the next hour or so, when it started doing it again towards the end of the trip. I made it home, but I kinda had an issue like this before. In the summer my injectors would get too hot (I think?) and one would get stuck open or closed. If it was stuck open I could see fuel pouring out of the bottom of my exhaust manifold. So I know it was stock open.

Is this normal? Is there a way to fix this? I had the injectors cleaned about a year ago, but that doesn't seem to help... Summer is coming again and althought I will be getting new injectors so I can turn up the boost, I would like to be able to drive to and from school without issues.

What all would you recommoend?
Thanks
~Tweak

i think you are a ******* idiot. no jk jk . never heard of injectors getting to hot to stick. i normally have a problem at drift events where a secondary would get stuck wide open and i would have to limp the car on one rotor through staging then once i got it over 4 grand it was right back to normal. but mine are junk *** 680s that have never been cleaned so you having fresh injectors seems kinda strange. your fucked lol

injectors dont overheat, the fuel keeps the internals and the coil cool.. the only thing that will cause a pintle style injector to stick open is a bad coil or something in the injector itself, ive seen rust from gas tanks completely destroy injectors from the inside out. my bet would be that they need to be serviced again
