i dont want to say youre wrong, because that just plain wouldnt be nice. but there's usually something somewhere if someone has thought it up. most people who do their cuts (or so i would believe) do not themselves use templates.
is there a reason you want a template for the bridgecut? i've watched BDC do bridges and he makes them appear rather easy. i would say drawing the line is many times easier than doing the actually cutting, grinding and porting.

There might not be a template, but it can be done. You obviously have to match the sleeves to the auxilaries, but it'd be easy to do.

i think thats the lighting and part of the iron itself. its too straight(ly curved?) and goes along the entire port. i think its just from previous wear. but yes, those bits do spin fast and are known to try and trail off.

Yeah, I think that one pic is just side step from cornerseal wear. That rear iron does look a bit rough though...and I thought the one I used looked kinda rough, but it looks new compared to that one. IT should still run killer, though. Mine is already making strong compression with 58 un-tuned breakin miles.

I made one for my engine....but no, as far as I know there aren't any on the market...It's pretty easy to make a bridgeport template though...Lay a housing on an end/intermediate plate using the dowl pins to keep it lined up. Measure the gap between the outer side seal track and the housing, then subtract about 0.5mm to be safe. Lay a standard port template over the plate, then install a housing on top. Trace a line following the housing onto the template, then use the compass (following the housing as well) to add your inner line. Connect up the ends as to not intrude on the water jacket, and there you go.

i think cameras pick up more detail than what is actual there. the flash, for instance, reflects off the most subtle wear in metal and really shows up. some ports have a strange lumpy look, but its all lighting. also, brian has a really damn good digital camera. i've noticed the pics he posts seem to be much better quality than others. a bit _too_ good...

If my memory serves me correct it is Judge Ito who might be working on some 6-port BP templates... not sure if they are ready for public sale. Like someone said, there's more info on it at nopistons.com
