OK Iv been having this on going problem since iv got my car. First i noticed it just around corners. i would take a corner hard and BUH! they car would die, and then come back on. Now iv come to the conclusion that its only when i use my gears to slow down like shift to second at 35 around a corner and use that as a break around the corner. This problem really sucks, cuase it eliminates what my cars good at, haulling *** around corners! so please help!

Check to see if your battery is strapped down correctly and that the positive terminal is not exposed. Also make sure there isn't any funny wires just sticking out around there.

See, if your battery is moving, just enough to touch the hood, or some wire is touching/grounding from the positive terminal on your power steering pump or something, that might do it when you turn corners, especially left hand ones.

I think he'd notice if the battery touched the hood...The huge scortch marks and melted battery terminals would be a dead giveaway.

But it certainly sounds like an electrical problem, or a fuel problem.

Make sure there are no shorts or chaffed wires...This is a long process as you must unwrap the harness and go at it manually. Especially, check the BAC valve area.

If the fuel tank baffle has come off the bottom of the tank, it will allow gas to slosh away from the pickup and cause the car to stall. Remove the fuel pump flange and check.

also check the secondary fuel rail, that was the case in my car, the fuel rail is held on by two bolts and they both where finger tight so that every time the car went around a corner the fuel rail was lifting just a little bit.

Yeah it sounds like a fuel problem, when you take the corner all the fuel is shifted in the tank and may affect proper fuel pickup if the pump and everything else is not working properly. Does this happen if you have a FULL tank of gas? Or do you notice it more when the tank is nearing empty?

It seems that it happens both when i have a full and near empty tank. I will check the secondary fuel rail. thats sounds like something to me. and what about the fuel pump thing? i have taken of the cover to the pump once before, what do i need to check? and no, the battery is clamped down and all terminals are properly covered. Thanks ALOT!!!! ill check those and get back to yall!

Remove the pump assembly from the tank and make sure the baffle is still in place (on the bottom of the tank).

If it is cutting off on hard lefts, look no further. There's a mesh screen filter attatched to the base of the fuel pump which can be had at the dealer for less than twenty dollars new. Problem fixed.

Unless it cuts off going around rights that is...
