My power window slips on gear?

Hey guys, summer has sprung finally and I need to get my pw windows fixed...
The drivers side motor works but it sounds like a gear is slipping?
The pass. side does nothing, could that just be a cleaning the contact issue? If so what side do you clean? (Drivers or pass.side?) Both? It dosn't work from ether side switch? Or motor? I have never had any problems with my pw windows on my past RX-7's....Thanks for any imput!

On the driver's side - try a used replacement motor & gear tape assembly - and grease it good.

On the passenger side - get some jumper clips & put 12v directly on the motor to see if it's OK.

If the P/S motor is OK, the drivers side switch is suspect.
It can be disassembled & the contacts can be cleaned, but be careful to note where all the little spring loaded parts go.

its probably the gear wheel on the drivers side, that was the problem with mine. So far i havent found any replacements and just swapped it out with a manual window

Hmmm? You know...I was thinking about that too. Was it an easy switch Drifter? I need to get my windows down! My AC works...but I like the air running through what hair I have left! ha ha...
