My Poor Baby!!!
I was driving through town going normal speed when all of a sudden my car stalled. I tried starting it again however it took like 4-5 secodns and to keep it going I had to keep on the gas. Now it backfires a lot, when pressing the gas theres barely any power and if I let go of the gas the car stalls. Worse part about it was I had my gf in the car and it was embarasing. You guys got any ideas on what it could be. Hope I dont have to do a rebuild on my engine???
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

oops, doesn't sound good First thing to do is pull the trailing plug on the front rotor, then crank it over (with all the plug wires off and the EGI fuse out). Listen for 3 short blasts of air. If that checks out ok, put the plug back in and repeat for the rear rotor. (the trailing plug is the one on top..)
If you get 3 even pulses for f/r, then start looking for other things. If not, then it sounds like you may be in for a rebuild.
If the motor seems to be good, then check all around for intake leaks. That might do it too!
