My O2 sensor wire broke

My O2 sensor wire broke

Hey guys so my O2 sensor harness wire broke rite at the plug. how do i fix this? thanx

Reconnect it...

Splice, solder, or do whatever you can with what you have available to you.

GO to a junkyard with a pair of cutters and cut one off the harness then splice.. done.

Just noticed mine had the same problem. RRTEC is right, cut one off of a junked fc and splice it or buy new terminal connectors at a parts store and splice the wires on both sides. Good luck

If there is any wire left on the O2 sensor then make a normal splice. Unfortunately the heat that close to the exhaust will probably cause any normal butt connector to fail. A soldered wire and shrink wrap might be OK.

If there is no wire left at the O2 sensor, you'll need a new sensor.

Generic one wire O2 sensors are $20 at most auto parts stores. They work fine and come with a high temperature butt connector.

cool thanks i think im going with new terminal connectors because i think i lost the old ones =\
