My new turbo good?
My new turbo good?
I just got my upgraded turbo from the turboguy. IŽve been waiting for 2 months, and the summer here in Sweden soon comes to an end.... Anyway, I said "Give me 300 bhp" and he gave me: T04B S3-trim, A/R 60, ported wastegate, new backplate, new compwheel and upgraded exhaustwheel (stock modified). What do you Turbo-experienced Rotorheads out there think about this?
I belive it is similar to an H-trim with higher A/R, I will have almost no turbolag and it will be very similar in fell to the stock Hitachi according to the Turbocompany, excpet that it blows a lot more air!
Any thoughts? Need different input, even though this rebuilder has good rep in Sweden. The problem here is that tha RX-7 is so rare noone really knows how to tune it, except for a small bungch of people!!
Thanks,

Thanks,
should be good for ~300RWHP and should spool up really quick.. you might run out of breath at the top end though.. BTW is it a divided housing? that would make it spool up quicker..
Most people go with a T04E with a .96 or larger A/R... That setup os good for ~400RWHP... BTW the T04E should spin up around 3.5K.

Turbo
Thanks! I will put it in my car next week, IŽll let you know what it feels like! BTW, I like if it spools upp very early, so I guess that was in my wishes when I ordered the turbo. I said "300 hp, fast spool up" and this is what he came up with.
IŽll get back to you!
Sankyo Sankyo alot!
