Are you joking? You need way more than a new paint job.

Don't really like the mirrors.

You need way more than a paint job.

I, much like you, have started buying the body parts I NEED/Want. Where you and I differ is WHEN to install the new parts. You went ahead and installed your cool parts when you shouldn't have ( i don't think you need an explanation). The mirrors are cool but not for the car right now. These guys came down on you a TAD too harshly but you kinda walked into it (now you realize why there are no pics of my car anywhere on the forum and there won't be until it's finished.)

Little by little your car will continue to get parts, care and love so don't let the harshness of some bring you down (i trully feel bad because some of us have put a lot of time and effort into our cars and they're nowhere near perfect and you don't need a couple of internet asshats to minimize your work and time just because they have bought a mint FC or have YEARS of work on their car compared to yours). Keep buying all the parts you want but wait for the right time to install. You wouldn't do booby implants on a 15 yr. old would ya?? because you know you have to wait until the right time till it's ready for add-ons (i.e. paint).

kinda confused myself with that one for a sec but edited it a tad^^^.

I say good job. When you can get your hands on something hard to find you have to go for it. There are things you can get all the time and there there are deals. If you never got them every time you look at the car you will say "I should have got those".

They look great

haha, ya. i am paying off a speeding ticket in the next 2 days. and new wide fenders all around. the engine bay is staying as is until i finish the t2 engine with v-mount. so, ya. wax, fenders, then paint.

i would buy the fenders now, i have the money, but speeding ticket + $450 engagement ring (its a $1000 ring, gotta love friends)= VERY slow progress.

peace

well i bought a whole body kit for my car before I needed it but it is just sitting in my shed until I have ALL the motor, driveline, and suspension work done and have money for paint and body work after it's installed. I would just rather have it look stock while in progress. Cosmetics will be the last step in the whole trip.

please take a better pic too, i can't tell what they even look like. how much did ya grab em up for??
