You cannot put a rollbar in a 'vert if you want to be able to put the top down. It would at the very least have to be removeable. Take a look at how the top goes down on your car, where would the rollbar be?? You can't even drop with the seats back!!

Oh and congrats on buying the best convertible ever made, and my favorite car of all time (well, for under $50K)!!!

Oh, and if you don't believe me, get some PVC pipe and fittings and make up a "pretend" roll bar. Put it where you want it, chop it, tweak it, and you will come to the same conclusion I did. I have considered fabing up a removeable bar for mine, a pair of hoops, since my car is top down nearly 24/7/365, but I haven't had the time to engineer it yet.

It can be done. There is one out there that is a "sorta" 4-point. It attaches to the floorboards and to the shoulder harness mounting points. The top WILL go up and down on that. I don't remember who makes it... maybe kirk?
