Heres the size difference between the cores. In the middles is the Mostly Mazda Large intercooler for the FD3S. The Large intercooler is BIG, the GReddy core makes it look puny. Not to mention the little baby stocker. Needless to say, the new intercooler has got *plenty* of surface area.

How much that IC kit cost? I was thinking of buying an IC kit here for an FC so when I move back to the states, I'll buy another one and stick the new kit on the "new" car

Yo,

Hey Seth, how's that thing supposed to flow when you've got CARDBOARD blocking the fins? I'm not impressed, I wish I had a digital camera and I'd take pictures of the flattened cardboard box my 32" tv came in. Now THAT makes your cardboard IC look puny! *grin*

nonono, you have to cut it into strips and layer them ontop. so you can see through the fins...

hell, it may be a little more "costly" but those honda boys want only the highest in quality. Maybe we could use that "aluminum" foil.
Go the classy route.

Damn that core is huge. I always wondered if there was another way to keep the PS besides going back over the top of the engine. Now I know. I guess when I build my FMIC setup I can copy that. (I'm a poor bitch, I can't afford a $2000 FMIC )...

Judging by the opening in the nose, arent you using only half of that intercooler?

And what about protecting it from ROCKS?!

I got the same kit like 2 weeks ago. Mine took me 3 months to get how long did it take to get yours? Another thing is there any way you can get me a copy of the instructions? Im sure I could figure it out myself and I know I can't read Japanese but I would just like a copy since they cheated me out of mine.

woah that thing is gigantic. Is that the one that horsepowerfreaks.com is selling? Are you planning to run that with the stock turbo or something bigger? Know of a way to get just the adapter thingie that goes on the TB to replace the shitty mazda one?
