My new fog lights....write up to come soon
I couldn't wait till I had time to share my newly installed fog lights. I will do into more detail later tonight, as I have to help a buddy change a steering wheel soon. Just to explain quickly, they are mounted in behind of the useless clear lenses just below the head light.
When I get home from the steering wheel change I will make a write up on the problems I ran into and my solutions.

I used some off the shelf Pilot lights I got from work. I had clearance issues with the headlights when I put them down, so I had to move them in. I could have waited and got a different set of lights, but I already had these ones. I am a big believer of using what you have and make it work, rather than spend all my time looking for the "perfect part." Maybe I will try to find a light that fits better if I ever have a problem with these ones, but for now it works.
If there is already a write up than I won't waste space. If any one has any qusetions just ask, as I regularly check any thread I started.

Here is a pic of what I had to do to make the Headlight clear the fogs. (on both sides)
Oh, and it took me the better part of 4 hours, but most was spent modifying the lenses. ( I had to cut the back part of them off to have room fo the lights.)

Oh, I forgot. A buddy told me I should change the bulbs to blue ones and put some blue LEDs on the outer part to fill up the rest of the lens. I am definatly going to change the fog bulbs to blue, but do you guys think the small LEDs will look alright?

I think you should stay very, very far away from any blue lights (fogs or LEDS). BTW, make sure to check on those Pilots from time to time. They can get pretty warm and melt the housings.

yeah, they do get hot, but thankfully, because of the bracket that my fogs came with they are mounted at least an inch away from the plastic lenses.
