My new exhaust, pics inside

Got my car back with my new exhaust yesterday. It was all done at Battle Auto in Innisfil, Ontario.

Exhaust system:

Battle Auto Race Header; ~ 8lbs, 316L SS , .065" tube, independent header flanges, mandrel bent curves, copper header gasket

Cat Back light weight, High flow exhaust ; ~16lbs 100CEL cat, 316 SS tube, mandrels and hanger wire, DNA muffler.

It is definately louder then my stock exhaust, but I'd thought I'd share another option out there for you folks.

I couldn't give an exact quote for the catback as I got a quote for the whole system (headers back). You can contact www.battleauto.com for prices as that's who fabbed it all up for me. I will say the price was comparable to other exhaust systems on the market.

Going custom was neat as I could go with many options, it is a 2.5" exhaust system, and the muffler is 2.5" inlet and 2.5" outlet.

It is a bit loud right now, but I also have brand new hardened motor mounts, so everything is kind of loud right now inside the cabin. I also have to snug up the headers a bit more with the copper gasket that was included with this exhaust. However it is not overbearing and it doesn't sound like any other fartcan... sort of a low racecar-ish sound. I've been passed multiple times by cops and haven't had any issues.

You shouldve ask them to fabricate you a true dual exhaust system instead. More power, and more noise

Im welding my own true dual, since I got a free racing beat true dual header when I bought my rx7. All I need is the dual pipe flanges, gasket, and some pipes.
I have no idea on what mufflers I should run though.

I wouldn't want it much louder then what I have now... although the sound is growing on me now.

I really wanted to try an Aero muffler (Aero Turbine 2525), but we were having some troubles getting a hold of one, so we opted for the DNA muffler just to try something else new.

There was some talk of length. I pretty much told him what I was looking for in terms of sound/tone and performance and then he went at it.

I'll see if I can find a way to upload a soundclip.
