my new car

just bought my second rx7 though im getting rid of the first gen sometime soon. bought it not running from a guy on the board pretty cheap 800$ considering it has NO rust and a great body, found out it was the fuel injectors, i got no reading from my ohm meter when i hooked it up, anyway already stripped out the whole car and now workin on taking the motor out with tranny driveshaft and rear axle sometime soon. lots of work but i live for working on cars. new paint job coming this summer. anyway im now coming to the 2nd gen

Interesting, I've never cared for the 1st gens. I remeber vividly my first time driving one back in `93 when they were still trying to sell them for $5K at car dealers. It was a GSL-SE and I absolutely didn't like how it felt. It was small, ugly, had a 70's interior, and no oomph... Ugh! And after a very brief test drive the salesman was like "so how would you be paying for this?" even after all of my negative comments durring the whole test drive. I was looking at the 87-88 300zx's at the time.

Anyways.... Welcome to the better half.

Thats not a bad deal but if you want bigger brakes and 5 lug rotors your going to have to upgrade later on. Make sure you find out how long it was sitting, because depending on where you are you might have a problem getting the motor rebuilt unless you can do it your self
