My never ending project...
Well I have been working on this for a while, here is all the details.
Car started life as a 89 GTUs, I got it with a blown rear rotor due to apex seal failure. I stripped the engine, drive line, rear subframe, fenders, hood, bumper and many other parts off the car so I could sell them. (still selling stuff so if you need anything let me know).
I then found a 90 frontclip and purchased that. Once I got it home I removed the engine and went to town removing all the un-needed crap. Removed emissions, ported wategate, added 850 cc injectors in the secondaries, and a act steet strip clutch an PP. Now before anyone goes off about how j-specs need to be rebuilt... When this pops I plan on redoing the entire set-up so this is more or less a stage 1 thing for me.
Next I swapped over all my parts like coils, HKS down pipe, K&N dropin, FCD, knightsports ecu chhip, FD fuel pump, S5 fog lights, JDM FTP's with bulbs and prob a few others I'm forgetting. I also swapped out the entire driveline and rear subframe, since GTUs and the turbo II use the same brakes I left those alnone. I also mounted up the turbo II hood, GTR fenders and the bumper from the halfcut. Also mounted up some 245/50/16 toyo proxy 4's in the rear and 225/50/16's in the front.
As of right now I am running stock exhaust except for the downpipe and stock intake until I finish building the custom exhaust, I will post pics, and put in the TID and cone filter.
It will prob never be done and it will always be getting newer better parts but its a good start I think, what about you?

ah nice touch with the gt-r fenders. are both sides supposed to say gt-r? only saw one in your pics. definitly a good start with the gtu-s chassis without a sunroof. what are your plans once its running? racing? drifting?
