Oops.

I pulled a 137, not 147. Sorry.
Here's a graph from a friends 90, street ported, intake, RB DP & presilencer. Pretty good for the # of mods I think. It was hot as hell that day too. I bet he would pull 150 on a 60F day.

N/A's do have potential as race engines. Could you imagin talking to the ricers and telling them that you only have a 1300cc engine that produces more than 300hp? That would be friggin kewl.
And on this note I really need to find a spot in Oregon where I don't have to take my car through emissions.

And this was done on a mustang dyno. I'd rethink your exaust setup, and go with the s5 intake manifold.
BTW, on the 30th of this month, I'm going back to the same dyno, to do a comparison with a working 6 port system, (see pic above.) and a 6 port system that has no activating rods, or rods in the 6 port sleeves, but still uses the Pineapple sleeves. I'll keep everyone posted. CJ

Yeah, it has a very mild street port. Infact, if you where to use a t2 center housing, it would be about the same size of port as mine. Did'nt touch the end plates though. I told Rob, that I wanted a "gas milage port". And I ported the intake manifold, with Robs direction on what to do, and where. CJ

just buy a turbo. it'll make more power stock and you won't have to spend all that money or put up with any noise.

A turbo is the way to go, if you can afford it. After driving my FD to work and back, my FC seems so slow. I feel its so slow that, its not even worth mashing the pedal to the floor afterwords Usually takes me a 2-3 days of driving the FC, to start to feel likes its fun to drive again. Those days are the times that I feel like ripping off all the mods, and selling them. Then taking that money and putting it into my FD single setup. Well....that was my ramble for the day...CJ

Don't bridge port the engine with the stock intake manifold, or the stock ecu/afm. It'll be a waste of time, as the stock inductions system does'nt flow enough air to even supply a large street port. CJ

I'm doing my street port hopefully a little like Jimmi325i . . but I can't know for sure because he wouldn't talk about his ports in detail. He just gave me some directions when I was doing my first primary port experiment. He says that he gets 25mpg on the freeway. The port he showed me how to do was not mild, that is for sure.

Sorry this is late, but I haven't been on the forum too much recently.

Anyhow, I am going to have to chime in here. I am currently putting down 161.2 rwhp on a stock S4 block. Pretty darn close to 165.

Refer back to this post for more details on modifications. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=95492

I am heading back to the dyno tomorrow evening and am hoping for a few more since the midpipe is gone and a test pipe is in place.

With his modifcations I wouldn't doubt to see 165, depending on how fresh the motor is. Mine had about 63K on the clock when it did this so I wouldn't be surprised if he did put 165 down.

It is a dynojet.

I plan to have a Microtech installed this weekend, so i am going tomorrow to get an updated baseline run.

I hope to have even more power once that is installed. It will be interesting.

There's no doubt that by getting rid of the stupid air flow meter, you'll pickup some nice power gains I'm shure. Like I said, keep us upto date, and good luck. CJ
