what? I've never heard this before. who gave you that tip?

I bet its still flooded. take a locking pliers and clamp off the fuel line (don't remember which one) and see if it starts. otherwise, there are a million other ways to start a flooded try some, and see if it starts.

ok what u need to do to unflood it is take out the egi fuse the farthest one from the drivers fender the crank it with it floored for abotu 10 seconds the put it back in and then crank it normaly. if that doesnt work do the same thing but on starting it the second time when the fuse is back in floor it it should start

You might have leaky injectors. Also driving short distances or for a short time can cause flooding as well if the car is not fully warmed up.

i hate that egi fuse tip, it has never worked for me(no offense)
what i do is look under the dash just to the right of the steering column and there will be a relay, it looks like a little black plastic 1" x 1" x 1" box with a plug that plugs into it. that is your fuel pump relay unplug the plug and crank the car. it should start up and run on the gas that is flooding the engine....while it is running and burning of the gas in the motor plug the box back up and the fuel pump will start pumping fuel and the car will stay running. might take you a couple tries to get your timing right but it works everytime for me and you dont even have to get out of the car and pop the hood everytime!
