My car: 88 tii, no EGR, 3" xhaust, no AC, no P/S, other stuff.

Ok so I took off my UIM for TB mod, and decided to check resistance of injectors. The HAYNES says that the resistance should be only 1.5k-3k. But mine are like 15k, daym, 12k diffrence! My question: what problems would this cause (run rich? run lean? hesitations?)
Can RC cure my injectors? They seem pretty rusted up, dunt think they can cure that. Also if I get newer, bigger injectors, and run w/o a SAFC, will it cause problem? ok last: mines are low impedance, rite?

 

They could be high resistance.

 

huh? why would Haynes put it shud be 1.5-3? whats the diff between hi/low resistance injector

 

Your 88 model should have high resistance between 12 and 15 ohm

 

well ok guys thx, got worried there for a min. so if mine are hi resistance, that means they are hi impedance also?
