hey guys, well it's almost winter...and my heater isnt working too well! I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and it usually warms up real fast and gets nice and hot, but since yesterday it has taken FOREVER to warm up and it doesnt get very warm at all. yesterday it took about 20 minutes just to get room temperature anyone know? thanks

 

First thing's first. I'd flush your coolant (or have someone do it for you) and see if anything (metal, rusty bits, etc.) comes out in it. Then refill the coolant, and try the heater again. If their's junk in your coolant, your heater core is probably going bad, and it needs replacing. According to a friend of mine...that's a real bitch.
