My hatch wont close all the way

Well... When i baught the car i noticed that the hatch wasnt all the way closed, or at least it seemed. (Who cares for 1700 bucks).

anyway it doesnt leak and its not that noisy, but it looks dumb. It latches, and the release in the front works fine, so you may ask what is the problem.

Well, it looks silly. The hatch is open about a half inch more than it should be and will not go flush with the rest of the car. Now i dont know if my weather seal is too thick or what, but i cant get it flush.

anyone have this problem?

Thanks

This is on both sides? About half of the cars with a rear wiper seem to have the side with the wiper flush and the right side sticking up.

I think now that it was replaced, because the car looks like it has been wrecked and i guess a new hatch might not fit as flush as the original.... but who knows, probably alot i should have ask before i baught it eh hehe...

I have the same problem with my GXL, I think it's the hatch itself, I'm gonna try to swap my SE on, and see what that does for it
