My Free FC
A few day ago I got an email from my friends dad.
Last year he aquired an 1989 FC from his cousin who got it from his dad in California.
The car wasn't in the best shape but it still ran OK. He wanted to fix it up and get it back into roadworthy shape. He never found the time and it just sat in his garage. He needed the garage space so and he new I always loved rotaries so he offered it to me for free. I jumped on it and now it is in my driveway.
The major issue is the transmission (auto
) leaks and hits the exhaust so it smokes. I don't know if its shot or not, so I'll wait until warmer weather to get a good look at it. It also needs breaks but other then that and its dirty interior its not too bad.
Here are some pics.
The exterior is not that bad aside from some paint fade on the roof and some slight bumber damage.
The Integra GSR is mine and the eclipse is a friends.

Some carpet damage in the hatch
Sorry for the crappy pictures, but I didn't feel like moving the car and the snow made it difficult to get the pics I wanted.

and since it's a S5, why is the tachometer topping out at 8k and redline at 7k like a S4?
the front bumper looks like an S4 bumper, maybe it's just me. everything else looks S5

I've never seen a manual window series5 FC. The door panels are definately not series4. Every series5 I've seen has power windows. Anyone know what model that RX-7 is? My sister has a series5 auto and it has power windows.

Aw man....I wish I could get a free rolling chasis in decent shape...that would be awesome!!! But Ive never seen anything come up like that here in this part of Louisiana....shoot....If I could get a free decent (and my decent I mean no frame/major body damage) rolling chasis I would drive and tow the car back!!
