Hey guys,

Im finally making the switch to Boost. Ive out-ground the stock s4 na hp and my wallet has finally grown enough to match my new needs. I bought this 90 rhd jdm front clip from a local jdm parts dealer. Along with the clip I have the entire rear sub frame with a couple of goodies attached. Unfortunately this will be a delayed build since Im a student with very little downtime that I can go without my car(being that it is my daily).

But I will used this time to gather as much info as possible for myself and to add to the forum in anyway I can. Im sure there are many like me wanting to do the same thing with the same questions that I have about this swap.

Unfortunately my swap hasnt started well with my car deciding to do a donut on an on ramp and me hitting a wall, The same day I was going to buy my parts. But its all good it; doesnt change anything besides my car being damaged.

A few quick questions.
Does the subframe have camber links? I think they are but im not sure.
Should I keep the sway bar? If read that the car is more responsive without it.
Is the rhd dash harness completely different?

You want to swap the dash?! You crazy man...I like you.

But seriously, don't worry about that dash until you get the engine installed and running perfect.

Changing the dash from LHD to RHD is just not a Swap.
you have to take in account the placement of the brake booster/Master..all the pedals and so forth,..that and the whole electrical harness.
You'd be better off to use your US car and just plop the engine into it.
The pic of your car with that "scrape" on it is just minor,,it will buff out,haha!
....
and afterall,you have a good Front bumper you can use now!

Im not doing a rhd swap, at least I dont plan to. The front clip is just the donor for an engine and s5 dash harness. Which is different then the s4 harness.
And unfortunetly it didnt come with a front bumper or clean fenders. But the hood is in good shape and the motor runs nice.

Is this ECU stock? There is supposed to be a fuel cut defender but I dont know where its mounted.

Yeah. The ecu and leading coil was fried. Had to replace them. Car has been running good since.

Question about the Dash Harness. Everybody says that the dash harness is different between between s4 and s5. Im looking under the dash and which harness is the dash harness? the one on the firewall or the one in the dash.

Also could someone check out my pics and tell me if the subframe has camber links, and give me some information about the Knight Sports Gauge Cluster as well?
