My fireball out the back recipe.

Remove & block off the ACV.
Set the throttle stop dashpot to hold the throttle off idle for a second.
Set the S-AFC low throttle map to add 30-40% fuel from 4000 up.

Zoom - Zoom - bam.

Mine's better.

Remove catalytic convertors and replace with straight pipe.
Install a nitrous fogger into the exhaust about 18" before the y-pipe.
Connect to a fuel solenoid and plumb into your fuel rail.
Put in your choice of jet... biggest one you have.
Connect the solenoid to a switch.

Make sure no one is standing behind the car, rev the engine up, flip the switch, and enjoy.

I've never actually done it, but I have activated a nitrous system with the bottle turned off on decel, pretty much does the same thing. Biggest flames I have ever seen out of a car, ever

I suppose you could also use a microswitch to complete the injector grounds whenever a switch is closed and the throttle closes... cheaper and easier.

With all the mods in my sig and removed emissions I shot flames like crazy with fuel tuned down 10% below 4k and after 4k down 5% until I set my TPS to 1k ohms. Now it's very difficult to shoot flames. Everyone go adjust your TPS it makes your car run better and I've noticed better gas mileage. If you want to shoot lots of flames go misadjust your TPS it should help it out.

The flames were 1.5 to 2 feet long and sounded like gunshots.

Ya don't say...

With a wet fogger, you also run gasoline into it, and gasoline is flammable. So you're feeding a fogger with fuel and no nitrous... YOr, you run a dry fogger and just connect the solenoid to the fuel line.

DON'T DO THAT!!

Regardless of how cool flames are, it's much more impressive to have a properly tuned Rx7.

I shot a 2' flame out the back of mine while I was drifting around a corner in 1st gear. The flames came when I shifted from 1st to 2nd. My buddy was behind me and couldn't believe his eyes.....I told him I could shoot flames...hehe

I have a 2.5" straight exhaust on my N/A and 2 greddy mufflers, everytime I let off at redline I get a pop out the back probably 4" of flamage
even if I let off quickly at 5+k in 3rd gear after letting the exhaust heat up for a few seconds under WOT I get a nice pop of flames out the back.
Standing still I need to peg it to 8k to get good results.

That's true. That's why I correctly adjusted mine . When I was shooting flames like crazy the TPS was about 1.4k ohms when it should have been 1k ohms. Just in case you wanted to know. I wouldnt recommend misadjusting it just to shoot flames. My car runs alot smoother after setting it correctly and my gas mileage is alittle better.

The throttle idle dash pot does the job.
You can set it up a little without affecting idle.
It just delays the closed throttle signal when shifting.
