Not only proof for myself but proof that allmotorrotor did nothing but go backwards... or at least sideways.
By far not backwards or sideways. 3.25" ID is what Mazda used. If it was backwards, I would have lost power, if it was sideways, I would have gained nothing, well guess what, I most certainly gained performance so it was a jump ahead. Your the first one ever to say that a CAI is a usless.

whether you want to admit it or not me tooling that idiot around actually brought out some hard evidence.... go play under your car and kick the jackstands.
Brought out what evidence? That your nothing but an idiot? you already made yourself look like an *** here and spread SO MUCH misinformation in this thread.

allmotorrotor - dood - seriosuly - no-one really cares what you do, i certainly don't
Thats fine if you don't, obveously others like the setup and you know what? Its purpose is the same as all other 1000s of CAI.

... thread wasn't interesting until eric showed up with some proof. something you never showed.
Proof? Your right, the proof that I absolutly did not go backwards or sideways. You want to come in here and talk like you know something? Go back and read my last post toward you, im surprised your still talking. Anything you say should be taken with a grain of salt. You have nothing to share and everything you say has been wrong.

so please really, grow up... i maybe immature,
Finally, he admits it. The only one here that needs to grow up is you. We don't tolerate gangsters very well, you keep posting, your only going to get shot down.
but the fact is that prof was given and it wasn't by you. all this bitching about reducing the size of the AFM - you still don't get what I was saying,
All YOUR bitching about reducing the size of the AFM. Tell me, because you never did, why would you want to use a smaller AFM?
it was about calibration -
After I prove you wrong you started getting into calibration and you still wanted to go with a smaller AFM. Who is thinking backwards now?

if you buy an off the shelf afm i doubt it would be properly calibrated for the 13b- by changing the size of your pipe and the mounting you fuxoring the calibration.
Changing the size of pipe will not mess with the calibration of the AFM...hahaha. Keep talking you making your self look dumber and dumber.

even if you got all that **** dorted out
Proper English please?

youre basically changing nothing becuase the afm is still there... the biggest restrtiction. maybe when you have your radio shack standalone removing can makle a difference. until then this ricer mod is close to useless
Your right, CAI are usless. The stock filter box has a pretty bad pressure drop from what I have read. So how is this a sideways or backwards step again?

BTW, radioshack corp is not smart enough to build a stand alone for the rotary so I don't know what you are talking about. I suppose if you want to build one from there go ahead but megasquirt is by far not a radioshack product.

Now would you gain a whole lot by swapping out the complete stock intake w a K&N drop in with mine, I doubt you will see a huge improvment.

eric - again - thank you. i asked the child many times for math that you finally provided. I guess I was right afterall in saying the pipe makes the least amount of difference and everything he did was a waste of time.
Noooo hold up, you are the one that was saying my pipe was TOO BIG! You said I should go with a much smaller pipe! You said that the pipe I used will make me loose low end and that I need to go with a smaller pipe!

You had no idea about the resistance measure of the pipe. I did, since I have a graph to help me out, Reducing each restriction one by one adds up. Why should I tell you the math when you can't figure it out on your own?

basically. & oh I looked again... Way to go mounting the thing to a strip of metal and than bolting the ******* clamp to it... nice move.... what no zipties laying around?
You would have let it hang right? Would have let the filter bounce around? Wait, you would have put the AFM in the same place and sdtill the filter, when put where I put it, would have been bouncing around. Bolting the clamp to it was a smart cheap, easy way of securing it. I don't use zip ties, sorry.

How would you have mounted it? I bet you would have used pink zip ties and pick hose clamps

BTW, you never did finish the question about why velocity in the intake manifold effects engine performance.
