It's our mass airflow sensor. THat's why it does it at a certain RPM. If it were the TPS, then it would do it randomly. My TPS is messed up so whenever my check engine light comes on, my throttle surges. Like, I lose all power. But that's my problem with my car. Your problem with your car is the mass airflow sensor. I'm pretty sure of it. My friend's 240 was doing the sme thing. I realize that you have a rotary and his is a piston, but the computer reads the MAF the same way and it does the same job in both cars.
