my fc not staying on.

okay here is my problem.
fist of all i have a 88 vert that has been tII swapped.
i didn't do the swap. when i got the car it started but i don't really leave it on for long because it didn't have the boost sensor, while i was waiting on it i removed the extra wired that go to all the emissions (i split opened the whole harness n took them straight out from the ECU) since the emissions were already removed.

today i was trying to start it, it started right up but my problem is that it will idle for like 8 seconds at 3000 rpm them it will go down to 1000 bounces down to like 800 then bak up, then it just dies.
when i start it again it does the same thing n when i give it gas it just dies.
sometimes when i give it gas it acts like it wants to die then revs then dies again.

what is it most likely for it to be? could it just be the wireins is not done right?
or could it be the TPS? from what iv read about it, it seens like that can be the problem.

i have removed the cold start secondary butterfly if that has anything to do with it.

any help or suggestion are n will be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

Abner

cold idle thermowax gone? If so you may have to help it(with the pedal) till it starts to warm up. I have to hold it on my vert for 2-3 minutes in the cold(40 and lower) till it'll idle on its own without the emissions systems.
