I have had a lot of stuff taken out of my evhicles before. ITs the price you pay for driving a bright shiny sportscar with all kninds of neat gadgets inside...after all, not many people waste their energy breaking into pinto wagons. Not to excuse the action, just that is the way of the world. SO I know how it feels...be more careful and less flashy in the future, something for which we will thank you for, keeping your FC clean and non-riced.

THat said, did they get the taillights?

The rates go up because people like you pull scams on them. BTW, insurance is not a fraud it's a law, complain to your congressman.
Your congressman is in on the scam...

Anyways hopefuly the idiots will try to sell these things and get caught. I got broke into and had all the stero, ec and backpack with my classring inside, well they tried to sell the class ring to a pawn shop. "Can I see your ID, hmmm your names not chris like on the ring" And just on chance a cop walks in and he radios it in, since I reported it they nabbed those tools and I got all my stuff.

Sorry to hear about that. I also have had the same thing happen a couple times!

proceed to gut your entire interior before the insurance guy comes to take pictures. youd be suprised how much you can get for things sitting in a friends garage.
IMO getting a couple grand out of the insurance company wouldn't be worth the risk (insurance fraud)...but then again, idiots hold up convenient stores for a couple hundred bucks.

Every insurance policy I've ever had had seperate coverage for aftermarket parts, at a higher premium.

So all you people complaining about them not covering parts should read what you are signing next time.

There is something to be said about having all your fancy things hidden when the car is off...

My stereo, amp, and sub are all completley hidden.

My stereo is also bolted to the frame of the dash. The amp is in the storage bin in which i fabbed a special locking mechanism that uses a padlock. My sub is covered in stock blue carpet so it blends in. the entire box is BOLTED to the floor

They may break my window, but they aint gettin **** unless they have an hour ot spare lol

I hate to say it, but your car was a rolling advertisement for burglary.

never underestimate the power of subtlty in a stereo..my vert could be easily broke into...but when they look in they see the old pioneer setup..if they only knew what was lurking under the covers. it sucks you got ripped off..it happened to me once before. the dvertisement does it!! mine never got touched until 4 days after i put bling rims on her(my old 86 sport not the vert) when i used to go out looking to steal...the big kicker stickers usually meant jackpot!! or the huge alpine etc....my old habits of stealing probly came full circle when my own car got jacked huh? i believe so but those days are long gone now!! sorry to get off topic sorta..just blah blah ing
