There is a door that is opened and closed with the hot cold switch. It is controlled by some acuator that can go bad. Richtex12 had a great write up on how to test it with a 12v batt. It could also be your logicon. Did u just remove your ac then this problem came up?

if its on all the way on cold then it should blow cool relative to having it all the way on hot(assuming everthing works right), but its by no means going to be "cold"

Here's what you gotta do.

Turn your air on full. Turn it on full hot. Stick your head under the dash + look for a flapper controlled by a wire. Turn the air to full cold. If this wire + flapper don't move then you need to either get a new logicon or a new blower.

Hmmmm....sounds like my problem. I just assumed that's what it did w/ no working A/C. Time to swap in a spare logicon!

Sure.
Be aware that two things control the temp of your air...the Air Mix door and the Water valve.
If you're having temperature issues, it could be either.
