My dealings with someone from the parts trader

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong? Because I'd really like to know Why doesn't my part fit? And Chris from Banzai Racing, if you're reading this...again I'd like to thank you for your professionalism.

Read from the botom up

You got a ******* drivers side light, I will make sure to tell everyone that you are a ******* idiot. I have no ******* idea why your car is fucked up. This came from the drivers side aof a 86 with a perfect body never wrecked. How more do you want it resolved!!!!!!!!!!!, A pic would show you that the car is still intact and the only thing missing is the ******* turn signal. I did you a ******* favor by taking it out of the bumper. You did get what you ******* asked for BUDDY

Yeah, like by me seeing pics is gonna help. Way
to help me there buddy. So explain to me why it
doesn't fit on my car? I've got an 86 rx7 and it
fits on the passenger side but not the drivers
side. So I guess you're saying I'm fucked and got
what I paid for huh? I apreciate your help in
resolving this matter. Real pleasure doing business
with you. I'll be sure to recommend you
to everyone

You are incorrect, it is the drivers side, would you like to see a picture of the car I took it out of?

I recieved the FC front bumper turn signal lens
this week, but was disappointed to find that it
was the passenger side turn signal, not the
drivers side one as I requested. The difference
is in the clip recepticles. The drivers side ones
I believe have three circular recepticles while
the passenger side ones are more flat. Anyway,
I'd like the correct part. If you could email me
with a resolution I would greatly apreciate it.
And if you want your part returned let me know.

what year is your car, 86 to 88 turn signals are the same. Then in 89 to 91 the style changed.

The problem is how will I know they'll fit? I guess I could call up a bunch of yards around here to see if they have one then just go look at the part to see if it has the matching recepticles before I buy it. This guys part fits my passenger side fine. Does anyone know if I'm correct about the way the clip fits? They are different aren't they? From what I can see on mine they are.

Most of the import yards here wont let you touch their cars. But I may get a hold of you about the parts. I'd still like to know if I'm right about the difference between the recepticles for the harness clip.

First thing
It is a complete drivers side assembly
second
check the number on the lens it will say "LH" or "DR" right on it
Nice way to alter emails, you can bet you won't be getting any parts for $15 shipped anymore

I didn't alter ****! Except edit your address out. Don't try to play like you didn't say what you did. And I don't want anymore parts for $15 if they're not gonna fit.

Edit: And the lens doesn't say LH or DR anywhere on it

that sounds funny that the drivers side and the passenger side turn signals are different, other than the fact that they should be mirror identical. You sure you don't have a 89-91 nose?

I've been dealing solely with Chris Sanders of Banzai racing and have had nothing but excellent service—and GREAT prices. On the 4 or 5 orders I've placed with him, he's shipped them same day. I'm not arguing yourr point or discrediting your post, but I can't imagine him sending an email to a client with that language or anger for that matter. Chris has always been courteous and professional. Fortunately you didn't lose a lot of money…I think he sells 90% of his stock at ~$25.

Brian

PS> I'm assuming you were being sarcastic when you were thanking Chris and actually, you were taking a shot at him.

The Blinker housing most definately does have a BIG "L" on it for Left, just like the right one has a big "R" on it for right. I pulled thge passenger side assembly today to see if it would fit in the hole created by selling you the drivers side, it fits perfectly as long as you put it in upside down

I can't complain about the service, I did get the part. And there's nothing to argue about, I copy/pasted exactly what was said. If there's one thing I hate is liars. At least he showed his face here and has someone to acredit him. And for him to pretend like he didn't say what he said just makes me shake my head. I didn't even know he was on this board, but thought I'd include my sarcastic thank you for the hell of it

And while it may fit upside down and backwards into the bumper, the only conclusion I can come to is that I'm missing the main harness that connects to blinker wire harness, because the one that's in it's place doesn't connect to the blinker light. How this part could be missing is beyond me because it was in place when I removed my bumper and headlight assembly. If that's not the problem I guess my car is "fucked up."

I am done with this thread. You got your part, it fits, I am sure it has an L on it for left and you still want to complain. Do not send any more parts request to me. You need to read your own thread, I was here before someone accredited me.

I guess you didn't get the humor in the Hef comment earlier, oh well......

BTW: Did you know it is his birthday today? Good timing on this thread.

Anyway, I will let you know that my 86 blinker lens assembly has an L on the drivers side and a R in the passenger side. They do fit in each others place as long as they are upside down in the opposite location as Chris described earlier. If your car is and S4, like you say it is, the part WILL fit. If it fits in the passenger side, remove it and flip it over and put it in the drivers side. Judging by this post:

And while it may fit upside down and backwards into the bumper, the only conclusion I can come to is that I'm missing the main harness that connects to blinker wire harness, because the one that's in it's place doesn't connect to the blinker light. How this part could be missing is beyond me because it was in place when I removed my bumper and headlight assembly. If that's not the problem I guess my car is "fucked up."
You have got to fit in the drivers side, right? But, now the plug doesn't connect to the existing plug in your car. Are you sure it's the right plug? Maybe the harness you are trying to plug in is the fog light plug, I don't know if S4's had the option for fog lights. Could you have misplaced the blinker harness when putting the bumper back on?

My take on the situation between you and Chris:
Chris sold you the part you asked for and then defended himself when you tried to discredit him. From the emails posted above between you two, you told him he was wrong about the part in question and he responded with a question about a pic of the car it came out of. You flew off the handle, rather than trying to figure it out, and Chris responded to your haste. I do not see anything wrong with his reply, and the way he dealt with it. Anyway, good luck figuring this out and finding parts from someone else.

You act like you're the only person in the world with car parts, don't worry I wont be asking for any more parts from your ***. And correct me if I'm wrong but you came to me, I just posted an add. And wtf does your posting before someone accredited you have to do with anything, maybe you should try comprehending what I said.
