My car won't start-->Please Help
Ok so I go out to start the car to go home for lunch. I turn the key hear a "click" and then I get nothing. I have no electrical accessories at all. No door buzzer, No flip up headlights, No starter, Nothing I mean absolutly nothing!
No i have checked the under hood Fuses located next to the left shock tower. I took each one out and put it back, Except the 80amp one which I could not get out of its socket
What else I should check? Have I fried part of my car??? I looked at the fuse panel inside the car but saw nothing (couldn't pull out the fuses anyway without pliers). I read over the description of the fuses on the box cover and none of them looked to be for the entire car
Please help!!!
Thanks in advance
Mike D

The 80A main fuse is bolted into the socket. You should be able to see throught the top of it to see if it's fried or not. This is the fuse that controls everything in the car.

How can I tell if it is fried? How the heck do you get it out? and where the heck can I find a new one??? And what would have caused this one to blow???
Thanks again for the info

Look on the side of the fuse block and you should see a bolt right under where the fuse slides into its socket. Remove this bolt and the fuse will come out. There should be a window on top, look to see if there is a piece of metal connecting the two sides together or not, kinda like a bridge.
Take the fuse to any auto parts store and match it up.
As to why it would blow, I have no idea.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
IF that 80 A fuse is blowing you have a major short somewhere, something grounding out. The only time one evr blew on me, I had a starter power wire momentarily grounding to the steering column, which had rubbed off some insulation.
IF it is the fuse blown, and you just need tog et home, get a screwdriver or knife and pry off the plastic cap. Bend the edges of the electrode together real wll, adn take her on home. IF its not shorting ut really bad, you should be able to make it fine.

Figured it out!!!
Ok so I got to tinkering with the car tongiht and foudn the cause to be 2 things.
1. SHIOTY WAL-MART BATTERY--> stupid thing went bad after only 6 months (according to date on side of battery) Wal-mart replaced it free so It can'tbe too bad
2. Loose battery cable--> The Positive battery cable had a nice size gash in it (from what I dunno) but apprantly i wasn't working exactly right (no uncovered wire), But anyway I replaced it and everything seems to be doing good now!!
Now If I can jsut get that flooding controlled then I will be set to have myself a new Daily Driver!!!!
