my car stolen! look out for parts pls!

i'm not sure how much good posting here will do.. but..

this morning i woke up to the news that my car was not in the driveway. great.

anyhow, if you guys see it around, i guess call the police - if local to me i guess (vancouveR)

it's a white 1990 rx-7 GXL. it's a 2nd gen model

so if you ever see the following parts for sale in the for sale section;

17x8 konig villains (no centrecaps, one wheel has a curb mark)
magnaflow mufflers with 3" tip welded on
k&n intake cone with 2.5" diametere at bottom IIRC
suspension techniques springs for 2nd gen
89-91 tail lights

pls let me know.

thanks~

I don't understand it.. Why steal a RX-7.. it's no honda civic.. you're pushing the parts to a small group of people.. You're car got jacked to help another 7 owner... I don't see why someone would jack one to strip it and sell it off.. ugh.. sorry to hear about your car.. i hate people that do that shat.

DAMN i have that same thing the autolock, only diffrence though is that i spent some seroius money on an alarm system with pager and everything so maybe itd be a little harder. I know who the F*** would steal our cars?? the only ppl are the ones that simply really want them, cuz there not really worth too much plus parts are only good for other 7 owners
F***** Sucks man ill keep a look out also

You guys make it sound like the RX7 is a POS. If I saw his car while cruisin around and I was a person who would steal someones car, I probably woudln't think twice about it. his car looks BAD ***. If it wasn't for the body style looking a little old on the FC, I would have sworn it was brand new.

Hope u get it back,
Dustin

yeah that car looks clean and taken care of! i personally have the ///ALPINE SEA 8081 alarm installed into my 90 vert with a bunch of options since the vert can be entered through the roof as well. and then i tie the large dog close enough to bite but not put a paw on the car. and if that is not enough i have my outdoor lights on all night. you never know...plus what everyone saying it has to be someone who either owns or has owned a RX-7 before. soory to hear as well.

when I lived up in Flint, MI (aka the armpit of Michigan) I would pull the EGI fuse every night and lock it in the glove compartment. Crank it up and try to start it biotch.. doesn't work too well.

Rx7's are soooo easy to steal. Screwdriver the drivers side lock, or most any key usually works cause they are worn out. Then pop the ignition and tap a screw driver in and turn, Vrmm vrmm your gone. gone in 60 seconds. Too easy. Alarm is your best bet, saved my *** once, and failed me once...cause i lost an amp. I suggest alarms for all your rexs or pull the INJECTOR fuse before you leave

Drive around man, they are pretty easy to spot if they guy is driving it around.

Its too bad such a nice car has such lousy secruity put into it. Hope you find out who stole it man. Im always paranoid when i park my car outside.

Heres what I did:

I got a battery isolator switch with removable key and hid it (not gonna say where as it would defeat the purpose)

When it is in the OFF position the car WILL NOT start due to no power getting to the entire car.. it interrupts the circut right off the battery.

Its an easy place to get to, but not visible at all. So when i shut the car off, i turn it to off and take the key so noone can take it unless the tow it

BTW to keep my radio presets I use a "memory keeper". Its a small battery system that provides just enough power to keep the memory circuts in your radio alive.
