my car when its cold sounds like its miss firing only about half throttle but does not do it at full throttle and once it warmed up it doesnt do it at all, but no matter what my car keeps idling at 2000 like its not warmed up, any one got any ideas?

 

it just randomly started to do that? or did you do something to the car?

have you checked to see if everything is connected such as harnesses and hoses? maybe a small vacuum leak somewhere?

 

i didnt drive it for 2 days and it started doing it. i didnt see any vacume leeks or anything, i have never had one of my cars do this and it only when its cold other than the ideling problem which is constant. i forgot to mention its an 89 gxl
