Dune Buggy Turbo 2 Hybrid???

Well guys ive been thinking the last couple days about doing a turbo dune buggy or rail buggy whatever their called. I have a Turbo 2 motor and i can get a Buggy prett cheap. The reason I would be building this thing would be to just whoop *** on the streets since it would be super light. What do you guys think. Has it been done before. I would love to have a 400 or more HP dune buggy. I think it would be fun.

Look on youtube, it's been done plenty of times. You'll also find one on there with a 20b, makes about 700RWHP.

If you did a little 2 seater you would have one scary ride. We are detuning the above vehicle, it just has way too much power. Never thought I would say that!

Its a holley 600 4 barrel double pumper. Lower intake manifold is a Racing Beat unit. It was originally for an older 4 port engine that we modified. If you are looking to drag race it works fine, otherwise I wouldn't run it. Its really hard to fine tune, and you will spend hours on the dyno. I spent 12 to get it to that point so far, and it needs a lot more at partial throttles.
