I got an 87 TII and whenever I start the car and drive off, after driving for a while and I'm sitting at a stoplight, tons of blue smoke comes out of the tailpipes. It goes away once I begin to move and start revving. The funny thing is that, it does it one day and the next day it doesn't do it. When it does do it, it comes out real bad and smells like total oil burning. I looked under the car and can see some oil on the top of my downpipe sometimes. Is this leak coming from my Turbo, I hope its not an engine problem as I had the block replaced recently!

 

Pull the intercooler hose to see if you've got puddles of oil in there...

Also, check the spark plugs to see if you've got significant oil burning in the engine...
