My car is posessed!!!
Yeah, so i used to set my car alarm all the time... and all of the sudden i'd be asleep in my house, and i'd wake up to my car alarm going off.. so i just thought maybe someone was messing with it. So i finally get my car down here in texas, where i am stationed at, and i parked my car at a friend's house, and i set the alarm. So my buddy was asking me as we were going into his apartment, what my alarm does when it goes off, so i told him it honks and flashes the lights. Before i could even finish the sentence, my car alarm starts going off for no reason! So im confused, and i really think my car is growing a brain or something, and it wants more attention or something... Any ideas?
Thanks.
Justin
Thanks.

Yeah, it's allergic to the Navy, just like mine.
Seriously though, what kind of alarm is it? If it's the stock alarm, those are notorious for shorting out and ******* up... If it's aftermarket, you either have the shock sensor or sound sensor (for breaking glass) set at too high of a sensitivity.

I hate not getting paid overtime...
Its the stock alarm.. i dont think it has a shock sensor or anything... i think it just goes off if the locks or doors are opened..

your battery is most likely dying.
My old crx, with the aftermarket alarm, would just randomly starting going off, and making a ton of noise all the time.
I borrowed a battery for a day, and it didn't happen.

Stock system. Get use to it.
I've run outside in just my boxers because the ****** decided to go off at 3 in the morning for absolutely no reason.
And if you think the alarm will deter thieves think again. It will probably sit back silently and watch them rob you blind.
