My Car Keeps Back Firing

MY CAR BACK FIRES WHEN REVED TO 5 GRAND AND LET OFF THE GAS..CAN ANYBODY HELP ME OUT?

Maybe too rich?

I don't know if your car is turbo, but if you have a BOV that is vented to the atmosphere, there will be miscalculation on the amount of air going into the engine. If the BOV is not vented back to the air intake pipe, your ECU will think there's more air going into your engine than actual. So it'll providing more gas whenever your BOV opens up(i.e. when you're shifting) and your car will run rich. If it's already rich, the unburnt fuel might come out of your tailpipe.

ya every time i let off the gas when racing, 2 foot flames come poping out, and thats on stock cb, i cant wait to get my RB, they are gonna be so big

its the best part of the rotary.

yep, i get some mini flames sometimes out of my pipes and i'm n/a.... it's badass

I had this problem, then for legal reason I put in a silencer just at the tip of my exhaust, and the problem went away

take ur silencer off... the flames look much cooler... legalities are overrated

Mine backfires, but since I put a BOV on it, it now backfires in multiples or not at all when it normally would. Is that normal? I have the RB w/ the 3" downpipe.
