i did a trans ission change and when i plug everythings back up, the car start everything but when i put it to drive or reverse the car doesn't move at all, do any body know why would it do that, or what i did wrong. thank alot

 

Wish I could help buddy..but I'm a newbie w/these cars. It would probably help though if you would be a little more detailed when describing exactly what you did...type of car..transmission....engine...year...why you changed transmissions...manual..auto...etc. That may elicit some help and give people an idea of what you are dealing with.

Automatic, isn't it?j Got enough fluid in the transmisson? I'm ignorant about automatics. Ignorance is BLISS! I suggest looking in the Factory Service Manual that is free and online.

 

Did you check the oil level if there no fluid transmission it won't move.

 

what happen is going on is im swaping out an old automatic transmission for a used one because the old one is bad but my problem is that i got it in once on it dident work i dont know why no wheel spin nothing but when i put in to D the hold light would blink. i took it out got a diffrent trans but this one when i put the torque converter in it got stuck, but the torque converter doesnt spin freely it spin thou
i got enough fluid so to my brother can u help the kandy man I NEED HELP!!!!!!!
