I feel SO stupid...I had NO idea the cap was designed this way because idiot that I am never actually took a second and thought of how overflow works. Me = moron!!

I'll drive her tomorrow night to make sure, but I we should be all good. I just got SO frustrated though...all that money and effort spent on quality **** and only 5 months out of the motor - it's a scary thought. My thanks to hondahater for having the same problem.
