Glad you're ok ... I'm seriously never going to drive my FD in the rain ... more than half the accidents i hear about are in the rain.
RX-7 + Rain = bad joo-joo
Glad you're ok ... and Happier still that you got a bad@ss car to replace the old one.

If you haven't already figured out what went wrong let me give you a small pointer about what went wrong with how you tried to correct it. First one of the big things you will learn not to do in a car that is rear wheel drive and has an independant rear suspension. Never ever lift off the gas too quickly in cases of oversteer, you will go from being able to control it while sideways to going right around. And another helpful thing is don't touch that brake pedal unless you are going in a straight line, you're tires have already lost static friction and have less traction because the tires are sliping and are experiencing kinetic friction (which the force of friction is significantly less). If you get all sideways lift off the gas SLOWLY and put the clutch in and recover from the drift by steering.
my $0.02, I wouldn't want to see yo do the same thing to that beautiful TII. Boost kicking in around corners while you're hard on the gas is a bad thing.

d: I was just about to comment on that last part!
