My 90's RX-7 Convertible doesn't start very well.

When I start my car in cold wheather, it cranks.. but doesn't start.

Until now, I found the following things.

The compression with regular tester : 150 and 118 and 110psi.

Is anybody know what does that mean?

If I check that one in the special tester, what value will be? I mean.. conversion thing...

And When I ues some elctric thing, the rpm goes down.

like from 700 to 400.. is it normal?

the last one is that my top open but doens't close..

I'm a international... so my english is horrible..

anyways, is anybody know what is the problem?

One more thing, I replaced all filter and spark wire(The mechanic said the spark is new..so.) and one O2 sensor and themo sensor..

He said every part is original... including oil filter..

besides, he said I have to replace another o2 sensor very soon....

As for the top, have you made sure the switch is ok? The wires may have came un soldered from the switch itself.
Is your battery good? I think that might help with electrical things putting a load on the engine.
Also, I hope you mean the car has a Mazda OEM oil filter, and NOT the original. If that is the case, do a good oil change asap!
You may want to search the forum for "cold start" it may help with that issue.
Best of luck & enjoy your vert.

give it a full tune up and go from there, fuel filer, air filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, change the coolant and thermostat as well.

The car should run alot better at that point.
Top sounds like it might be the switch, you do have the parking brake on right?

By the way, I know a coolant change wont make the car run any different, I only say to change it because the car probably hasnt had it done in a long time if all the other parts are original.
