my 90 rx7 only starts when i push start it, why not with the key?

i have a 90 gxl that i converted to with a turbo 2 jdm motor and now the swap is done and the car only starts up when i push start it, also all grounds seem to be fine and the battery and starter are good. i did a compression test and the front housing was reading at 50psi and teh rear was at 60psi. i was told that cause the jdm motor was sitting so long that the seals are stiff and they need to loosen up and thats why the compression is so low so i put the atf in the leading and left it to sit over night and know the car cranks and sounds like it wants to start up even more but it still doesnt unless i push it.

First off...Atf, big mistake because that ruins your seals. Better off using oil or diesel. As for your problems, yea the compression is a little low obviously. Could just be flooded search for how to do that, spark plugs and wires replacing could help. Im not sure how to test coil packs but get those checked, make sure there firing good. After that is good then something internally has to be shot. I could be wrong.

Wow, that is terrible compression.

Seafoam is a good choice but not atf.

Also run 1oz of premix oil for each gallon of gas for a while and treat the engine like youre breaking it in like its been rebuilt.

Sounds like bad news though.

So it turns over well but doesn't catch? Check spark and fuel to make sure each is working properly. A weak spark or too much or too little fuel could make it hard to start.

i hear yall but>>>>

the motor sounds healthy and i figured that i probably need to just let it run and drive it around for a good while and then try to start with the key, cuz since i did the swap i never let the car run for more than 30min becuze of the neighborhood and i have no exhaust so its od loud.
