My 86 Project... some pics

Well, an update finally. I've been doing a lot of work on the car, but hadn't had a chance to get some pictures up.

I finally got my interior reassembled, wiring done (mostly) battery mocked up for relocation and the wiring for that done/tested. I still need some new seats, a driveshaft, and to pick up my wheels/exhaust from my friend in Indy, then she should be on the road.

New spoiler...

Another spoiler shot...

Interior shot (still need new seats, anyone have any ideas?)

All new center console/stereo surround pieces

Relocated battery (not mounted down yet, just in for testing the wiring/circuit breaker).

Wheels (not on... yet.) 17" TSW Evos

I was gonna say eeeewwwww auto, but I take it back.

I'm still not so sure about v8 rx7's.. kinda defeats the purpose of the Rotary eXperiment..

Thumbs up

Nice to see people without too much animosity towards those darn pissed-on engines.

Just in case there were other questions, that spoiler is a "YourSport" spoiler, and the car has had pretty much everything on it torn apart and rebuilt. It started as an 86 Luxury Coupe (Base with A/C and Sunroof). I repainted it black, replaced the entire interior (it was br/red, that lovely maroon/dog vomit color), replaced all the bushing with poly, and put on TII struts/springs/hubs/control arms/brakes/master cylinder. Out of respect for Mark and the others who seem to get offended by them, if you did want any V8 info, hit me up on the conversions forum or PM. Keeps people from fighting. I'm looking to put some lowering springs/tokico blues (or some Tein coilovers) and maybe a CS Border or GP Sports kit on in the near future, and possibly a tripoint based widebody (traction is a good thing ).
