my 86 Infini

Hey, nice day today so I took a few pics of my car.. its an 86 S4 Infini I bought it about a month or so ago. Engine wise it hasn't been played with too much.. I bought it exactly like this so I don't know what spoiler that is on the rear.. if anyone knows please let me know.

Does anyone know what that switch does on the centre console.. not the switch for the parkers but the other one next to it.

Also how do I upload better quality pics, I had to compress them down to 100kb but they lost alot of quality.

Yeah doesn't look stock, the previous owner who imported the car said it came like that from japan but he too didn't know what it was for, ill probably have to follow the wire and see where it leads.

I'm not really feeling the two different colored wheels, but overall that car is very clean and nice. I would get S5 molding for the fenders to match the rest of the car. I wish I could import a JDM to america, a right-hand drive Infini IV......

that switch is probably for a fuel pump kill or something like that. i didn't see any fogs lights, so that wouldn't be it.

nice car too. i was thinking about doing my interior like that, but my car is red.

Thanks guys, the spoiler is quite subtle.. Madrx7racer I was told that the interior parts were plastic dipped or something along those lines but im pretty sure you could get great results by just priming the parts and then spraying them with a colour of your choice and then putting a few coats of clear to protect the paint.

Is all Jdm 7's infini? What makes that car an infini? Does anybody know where I could order Infini badges, I'm going to start working on a conversion. Yes, I know there is no difference in performance. I'm going for some originality, do the RHD and all that is needed to switch.

I thought the Infini was a limited production S5 car.... had like no A/C, no radio, different leather seats, the badging, 212 BHP, different rims, and the green color. Icemark has posted NUMEROUS times what the Infini is... so do a search, and you'll find it.

Doesn't look like there are fog lights, but there is a switch for them.

That is just the Infini IV... There were also Infini I through IV (1 through 4) models.

He's in Australia. You can bring a car from japan to AU with no problems any day of the week.

I'll bet ya $5 (US$3.60 ) it's a boost control switch. Check the engine bay for boost control solenoids near the wategate actuator.

Anyway, nice car. It's definitely a Jap import... Different wheels front to back, stereo removed etc.

In Aus, we can import Japanese cars 15yrs old (and older obviously) with little trouble. Both being right hand drive helps. It's resulted in the price of FCs dropping substantially. The Gov is working on stopping the practice.

The Infini I and II were Familias, not RX-7s.
